m4a_converter.py mimetype check [Economist podcast]
Last modified: 2013-02-12 14:05:26 GMT
While not necessarily a problem with the extension code, The Economist podcast downloads, which are in m4a format are not converted to mp3.
Viewing the sqlite Database shows that the Economist episodes are listed with mimetype of "text/plain; charset=UTF-8".
While the episode mimetype for this podcast is probably incorrect, a means of optionally just checking for the file extension match might be helpful.
Maybe it would be better to contact the host of the podcast and tell him that his podcast feed isn't correct.
What's the point to provide a feed with an m4a audio format where the mime-type definition is "text/plain"
I did this before with another podcast and the host of the podcast corrected the feed and provided the correct mime-type

Will certainly give it a try.
I also found another podcast where a downloaded m4a podcast shows a slightly different mimetype in the sqlite database:
shows as "audio/mp4a-latm"
Added the new mime-type and also the additional file-extension check:
Thanks for the very quick fix, this did indeed resolve the mimetype issue.
Once I got past that, I found another issue with the ffmpeg command line. Will submit that as a separate issue.
